There are some facts too get straight in our lives.
Isa. 28 is also a condemnation of the present church, in particular the Pentecostals and charismatics, who have slipped from their moorings to the heavenly throne. Isa. 28:14 shows judgement as to the Pentecostal message of Acts 2:4. Paul quotes it in 1Cor. 14:21 and relates it to speaking in tongues – whether the tongues given by Jesus Christ in Acts 2:4 experience or the gift of tongues as given by the Holy Spirit. Each is different. Australia wide, the slaying power has many followers in C.O.C. churches falling over backwards repeatedly. They say it is the power of God, a blessing. It could be demonic, human, psychological, all these things being factored. It replaces speaking in tongues as being the power of God given in Acts 2:4, for all believers. So falling over backwards is the power of God operating according to the power of God in Isa. 28 and they do not know it. C.O.C. is in Nepal. They over emphasize the slain power and healing with disregard to the entirety of the Gospel and the Epistles. Latter rain and new age have infiltrated and are the base.
On the other hand ex-AOG new generation pastors have left their roots and introduced rock music as the base of worship so called with rock concerts flashing light scenes. This is an abomination. The trend has gone world-wide.
Those pastors with others in U.S.A., Singapore and elsewhere base their ministry on heretical prosperity doctrines – success, wealth and total health. All goes back to the positivism as presented by Norman Vincent Peale and Dale Carnegie together with this. Copeland totally copied Hagin who plagiarized, in the seventies, after Kenyon’s books of the fifties. I read their books, Kenyon a Baptist, was educated in a Christian Science seminary. The philosophy is Christian Science and the whole Pentecostal and Charismatic world is ingesting such heresies. Kenyon goes back to Mary Baker Eddy (Founder of Christian Science), back to Quimble of New Thought (Now New Age) and from there to Mesmer (hypnotism).
Millions are mesmerized, through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, influenced also by the many motivational speakers, to falling away from the Gospel and the true Holy Spirit. 1Tim. 4:1,2, 2Tim. 4:1-4, 2Pet. 2 and 2Cor. 11:3,4,13-15. There are heresies, perversions and even blasphemies coming out. There is a need for a Rev. 2&3 based on Acts 3:19 and Col. 3:16. Who will dare to be a Daniel, a Jeremiah or better still a Paul? This may mean unpopularity, 2Cor. 3:16; 1Tim. 5:20; Titus 1:12,13; 2:15.
The “judgements of God are in all the earth. “The Judge is at the door”. “If judgement begins at the house of God what shall the end be of those who reject the Gospel”.
